Ross Siler of the SALT LAKE TRIBUNE writes, "There have been a couple of questions about Williams' future in recent weeks, and with good reason, given how he played in the Jazz's run to the Western Conference finals. The key date is July 1, 2008; that's when the Jazz enter a window when they can negotiate an extension to Williams' rookie contract. That window is open through Oct. 31, 2008."
