Marcus Henry of the NEW YORK NEWSDAY writes, "The Knicks will host Israeli basketball club Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv in an exhibition game Oct. 11 at Madison Square Garden, it was announced yesterday. 'This game will provide us with the unique opportunity to play a quality opponent while benefiting a worthwhile cause,' coach Isiah Thomas said."
