In USA TODAY, Greg Boeck writes “San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich screamed on the bench when Tony Parker let his three-pointer fly. On the court, Tim Duncan grimaced. Even Parker said afterward it was one of those ‘nooooo' shots. But it found the bottom of the net. It's been that kind of magical NBA Finals for the wiry and elusive Frenchman. Parker became the first European player to win the Finals MVP award. He led the Spurs in scoring in three of the four wins (24.5 average) while shooting 56.7% from the field. Before Game 4, Parker said being MVP ‘would be unbelievable.' ”
