Charles F. Gardner of the JOURNAL SENTINEL writes, "Wright followed the energetic prodding of Bucks assistant coach Bill Peterson during an hour-long workout. The lean and athletic forward showed a nice touch on jump hooks and short jumpers, and, after a difficult start at the foul line, the left-handed shooter began to sink his free throws."
