THE FACTS: The Nets' third quarter woes returned and a stifling Bulls defense held the Nets to 11 points on 2-of-19 shooting in the period. The Bulls outlasted the Nets in a 90-82 victory at Barclays Center. Five Bulls scored in double figures -- led by Luol Deng's 17 -- and all nine Bulls that played had a hand in the victory. The Bulls especially fed off of the energy, defense and clutch plays provided by Joakim Noah (11 poi nts, 10 rebounds), who was playing on a minute restriction due to a lengthy bout with plantar fasciitis. Brook Lopez (21 points, five rebounds, three blocks) was the most efficient Net, but yet again his contributions came mostly in the first half. The other three members of the Nets' 'Core Four' (Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Gerald Wallace) shot a combined 8-of-34, including 3-of-13 from behind the arc.
