In the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER, Branson Wright writes “Cavaliers coach Mike Brown said throughout the week that his team's two-game regular-season sweep over the San Antonio Spurs would not mean much in the postseason. After Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, he probably wish it had. Poor early shooting from LeBron James, another dismal third quarter, and some lackluster defense on Spurs point guard Tony Parker all led to an 85-76 Cavs loss. This was only one game, but the team that wins Game 1 has won 17 of the past 23 championships.”
