THE FACTS: Wesley Matthews scored 24 points -- including a decisive 3-pointer with 53.6 seconds left -- as the Portland Trail Blazers ended a season high seven-game losing streak by beating the Boston Celtics 92-86 Sunday night at the Rose Garden. All five starters scored in double figures for the Blazers (26-30), including Nicolas Batum with 18 points, LaMarcus Aldridge with 16, Damian Lillard with 12 and J.J. Hickson with 11. Paul Pierce totaled 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds for the Celtics (29-27), 1-3 on their current five-game road trip. Kevin Garnett added 20 points and nine rebounds for Boston.
