THE FACTS: Shooting guard Klay Thompson scored a season-high 27 points, including five 3-pointers in the third quarter, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Detroit Pistons 104-97 at The Palace on Wednesday. Stephen Curry had 22 points and 10 assists -- his fourth straight game of 20 points and 10 assists -- and David Lee added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors in their opener of a seven-game road swing. Tayshaun Prince had a season-high 24 for the Pistons, who had their five-game home winning streak snapped. Rodney Stuckey had 17 while rookie Andre Drummond chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds.
