Joanne C. Gerstner of the DETROIT NEWS writes, "The killer was a baby-faced, doe-eyed rookie reserve guard named Daniel Gibson, who came to life in the fourth quarter. Gibson, much like in Game 4, was left open one time too many and made the Pistons pay. He ended up being James-like, scoring a game-high 31 and adding six rebounds."
