"Miscommunication" creates Amsterdam plane hijack scare

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Miscommunication between a Spanish airline pilot and Dutch ground control caused a hijack scare on Wednesday that led the Netherlands to send F-16 fighters to intercept a plane, the airline said.
