Spurs' Ford leaves Knicks' game, diagnosed with stinger

Spurs backup point guard T.J. Ford was helped to the locker room Wednesday night after he hit the floor hard during a scramble for the ball against the New York Knicks. Ford, who missed the entire 2004-05 season with a spinal cord contusion, was diagnosed with a stinger and found to be neurologically intact by team doctors.
